| About Us....Patrick and Andy both worked in the Canton Public School system. They knew of each other's love of music but didn't start playing together until the summer of 2007. Patrick invited Andy to join "The Substitutes" for two gigs - a block party and Back-to-School Library Bash. Soon after that, Patrick and Andy continued to play together as part of "The Substitutes" and also as a duo.

| Patrick Allen....Patrick is originally from Brighton, England and arrived in the United States to attend the University of New Haven. He has been a 6th grade teacher at Canton Intermediate School for several years. Patrick plays a variety of instruments including the guitars, bass, keyboard, drums and vocals.  | |

Andy Robbin....Andy was born and raised in West Hartford, CT and works as the principal at Cherry Brook Primary School.
Having grown up during the initial MTV age and having spent his days in college during the "grunge" years, Andy's musical influences vary greatly. The Who, Michael Jackson, Buffalo Tom, Uncle Tupelo, Pearl Jam, Stevie Wonder among others have all spent significant time in his CD player throughout his life. As a result, Andy appreciates a wide range of music genres and enjoys having the opportunity to play different types of songs. Andy typically play keyboards and vocals but dabbles with the bass guitar and ukulele.
